As a foundation for the lessons and assignments in this class you will each be creating an original intellectual property. Constructing a world with a narrative gives us a strong foundation for grounding our concepts and giving them a feeling of consistency. This will also make the assignments more in line with what one would experience as a professional in-house concept artist. This class will be fairly fluid focusing on not just technique and software but where your ideas come from and what it means to be a working artist in the entertainment field.

Inspiration
Hey class,
i just added a blog roll where i will upload cool and inspirational artists websites and blogs.
starting with alexandre diboine. some very cool other bizarre painterly work. lots to look at and drool over :) more to come soon!
